My Reason

Three-year-old Prince Lewis from Tacoma, Washington died in February 2023. He was physically abused by his mother, Ivey Lewis, who is charged with 1st and 2nd degree murder of Prince. She told law enforcement that she was under supervision of the Washington State Department of Children, Youth & Families and that Prince had been in foster care from the time he was 10 months old until 6 months before his death.

The murder trial of Ivey Lewis is scheduled to begin on May 16, 2024 in Pierce County Superior Court.
